About the Artist

Breaking the Frame: Art, Emotion, and Connection

As an abstract artist, I work from the inside out. My process is intuitive, raw, and rooted in emotional truth. Each painting begins as a conversation between parts of myself, between tension and release, between what is visible and what is felt. I use mixed media to layer meaning and texture, letting each piece evolve organically until it speaks with its own voice.
I explore the nuances of human experience through bold colour, dynamic brushwork, and fluid forms. My paintings aim to evoke emotional responses and invite introspection. Working under a pseudonym allows me to maintain greater creative freedom and openness in my work without being constraint by expectations or preconceptions about my real name.
At the core of my practice is a pursuit of authenticity. Each work is a spontaneous, personal expression, revealing my thoughts and feelings. I channel the energy of the subconscious directly onto the canvas without planning , as I believe this is essential to maintaining my connection with the raw authenticity of the creative process.
My paintings seek to balance moments of raw power with passages of contemplative calm, mirroring the ebb and flow of lived experience. This interplay aims to invite viewers to engage with the work on a deeply personal level.
Technically, I employ a range of techniques, from thick impasto to fluid gestures, to imbue my abstract forms with depth and emotional resonance.
My hope is that my work can forge meaningful connections with the viewer, challenging the observer to project their own experiences and interpretations onto the canvas.

But for me, the art experience shouldn’t stop at the canvas. That’s why I founded the Connecting Conditional Art Movement (CCAM) aiming to foster authentic human bonds, as I believe this is essential for nourishing the human condition. This philosophy is central to my artistic practice, which seeks to create an empathetic dialogue between artist and audience.

My goal is to craft works that resonate deeply, speaking directly to the heart and mind. Through these spontaneous, authentic explorations, I invite others to embark on journeys of self-discovery within my paintings.

Connecting Conditional Art Movement
In an era of digital isolation, Artig's work stands as a testament to the power of art to not just reflect life, but to actively shape it, bringing people together in an increasingly disconnected world.
The “Connecting Conditional Art Movement” (CCAM) is groundbreaking initiative that redefines the relationship between art, collectors, and community. In this movement, each piece in a series is sold with a unique condition: the buyer must share their contact information with the owner of the corresponding counterpart. This deliberate connection creates a bridge between collectors, transforming the act of art ownership into an opportunity for authentic, real-world interaction.
By fostering personal relationships between the works and their custodians, the CCAM elevates the art experience beyond aesthetics. It invites collectors to actively engage in the artistic narrative, forming a dynamic, interconnected community. This shared journey not only enriches the art itself but also encourages participants to discover common ground beyond their shared appreciation for a series, uncovering potentially deeper connections in unexpected ways. More offline than online, more real time than face time, giving the phrase “art connects” a true literal meaning.
If you are a fellow Artist or know of an Artist who would like to become part of the CCAM please get in touch when you feel ready: hello@ErnestoArtig.com.
